How does Deborah Still Design Studio Charge?

Charges are discussed at the first meeting and how payments will be made. Traveling expenses may be a consideration for country clients.

Single consultation
This is approximately one hour and consists of helping and choosing colours.

Initial consultation
Setting the scene for longer-term projects. A fact-finding mission in order to establish the extent of the work involved. For larger projects this may involve breaking it down into stages.

Long term projects
On long term projects or designing a colour scheme, the time involved on the project will be charged per hour. This may include liaising with trades people, choosing materials involved in the project, putting together the colour scheme and specifications.

On the spot problem solving
This involves checking on single problems, e.g. choosing cushions, lamps, colour advice etc. This is an on-site occurrence charged by the quarter hour.

Travel
Outside of the Timaru boundary is per kilometre. This can be shared with other clients in the same area if prior arrangements are made.

A 25% deposit is required before ordering goods over $500.00. Written quotes will always be sent prior to ordering. This makes costs perfectly clear. Accounts are always payable on delivery unless alternative arrangements are made at the time of ordering.
